Jordan Peters among 29 in nation serving Sept. 1 - Jan. 26 term

Congratulations to junior Jordan Peters on his acceptance to the U.S. Senate Page Program sponsored by U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. Pages are paid to deliver correspondence and legislative material within the Congressional Complex, take messages for Members, prepare the Chamber for Senate sessions, and carry bills and amendments to the desk. Jordan was selected for the 2017 Fall Semester which runs from September 1 thru January 26 where he lives and works in Washington, D.C. with 28 other U.S. Senate pages. Jordan most recently was elected as the Student Council Secretary/Treasurer.

Jordan is interested in pursuing law as he really enjoys public speaking. He is a member of the Y Club and the Swim Team. Jordan also volunteers many hours at Norton Hospital in Louisville every summer and with the American Cancer Society every other month in Frankfort.
