Due to the conflict created by the overlap of the College Board Advanced Placement Exams and our scheduled days for senior final exams in May, we are adjusting the calendar for senior end-of-year events to maximize the opportunities for success on all of these exams for our seniors. The current calendar reflects the following changes:
|May 7 - 18||Advanced Placement Exams|
|May 18 - 22||Senior Final Exams|
|May 23||Make-Up-Day for Senior Exam Conflicts|
|Senior Awards 7PM|
|May 24||Graduation Rehearsal 11:30AM|
|Baccalaureate Mass 7PM|
|May 25||Graduation 7PM|
Congratulations to rising sophomore Joey Keal who has recently been selected as a delegate for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund Children’s Congress in Washington D.C on July 24-26, 2017.
The 150 delegates range from ages 4-17 and represent all 50 states and the District of Columbia. They will enjoy the opportunity to help members of Congress understand Type 1 Diabetes and why research to fund life-changing therapies is so important.
The JDRF Children’s Congress T1D advocacy program began in 1999. Since its inaugural year, nine successful Children’s Congresses have been held with more than 1,000 kids with T1D serving as delegates.
