Service Opportunities
Ryken Service Club
This club provides opportunities for students to serve the community by participating in a variety of service projects throughout the school year. Students are invited to serve the poor, homeless, elderly, and children in active ways. Through collections, walks, and interactions with these groups, our students are living out the true mission of the Xaverian Brothers by "falling in love with the service of God." This club also sponsors the St. Joseph of Arimathea Society, a group who attends burials for poor and indigent members of the Louisville community at River Valley Cemetery.Service Opportunities.

Junior Service
Juniors are required to complete twenty hours of community based service. This is a school requirement and must be fulfilled by the spring of Junior year in order to graduate as a senior. Sophomores will be given information at the end of the year to begin this requirement during the summer months. A service fair will be held for students to gather information on various agencies in the Louisville area. Agencies must be approved by the Service Coordinator. A service Mentor will work with students throughout the year.
