Daily Bulletin - May 24, 2013
Students are asked to please recycle your notebook paper, handouts, books and workbooks to keep them out of the dumpsters and landfills. Students will be in the T’s after each exam to help collect them. Please remove metal rings from the notebooks. No plastics, foods or metals, and thank you for helping.
Teachers are reminded to empty their blue recycling bins before exams end next week.
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Behavioral Detention will be held AFTER the second exam today.
FLIK will serve breakfast from 7:15 to 9:15 AM and lunch from 10:15 to 11:45 AM today and Tuesday during exams. Only Declining Balance, Cash and Flikels will be accepted. No Meal Plans can be used. Lines 1 and 2 will be open. Exception: A Continental Breakfast ONLY will be served on Tuesday from 7:15 to 8:30 AM.
The Cafeteria will be open today and Wednesday until 2:45 PM. On Tuesday the Cafeteria will close at 8:30 AM.
All art students must pick up their art work by Wednesday.
Attention all students taking the ACT prep course on June 3rd thru 7th. Be sure to bring a calculator and a writing utensil to class each day. Class starts promptly at 8:00 AM in the IMC. If you are driving, please park in the faculty lot next to the pool area. DO NOT park in the visitor spots along the IMC or across from the Driscoll building. Also, dress is casual. CLUB NEWS
The Habitat for Humanity Club has a few openings for summer volunteer dates on June 26th and 27th, July 25th, and August 1st and 2nd. If you are interested in service opportunities on these dates, please see Ms. McBride or Ms. Pifer for details.
SPORTS NEWS
The Weight Room will be open today and Wednesday of exams from 1:15 to 3:15 PM. The Weight Room will be open on Memorial Day and Friday, June 1st, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM.
