Volunteering is a great example for St. X students to see parents and friends serving the school in a special way. Volunteering at St. X requires as little as an hour or two per month, to four to five hours per week. This program is very flexible and is a great way for parents and alumni to become involved in their son's school or their alma mater!
Ways to get involved include:
Phonathon: Parent and Alumni volunteers are needed to call other parents/alumni for donations to the school's annual fund, which supports tuition assistance. The Parent Phonathon is held in November, while the Alumni Phonathon will take place in March. All volunteers receive dinner and a St. X T-shirt and other opportunities to win prizes. Parent volunteers will also receive 10 FLIKELS for their son! Click here to volunteer in November (Parent Phonathon)s. Sign up as an Alumni Phonathon Volunteer in February/March by clicking HERE or emailing Kelly Stratman.
Alumni Association: Alumni volunteers are always welcome. The biggest need is having volunteer callers during the Alumni Phonathon in March. Other volunteer opportunities include writing articles for The Tiger alumni magazine and volunteering at the annual St. Joe's Picnic in August. Email Kelly Stratman or call 637.8485.
Receptions: Volunteers are needed to help serve cookies and punch at various school receptions throughout the year such as NHS Induction Ceremony, Scholars Reception and Senior Awards Reception. Email Heather Goss to help.

Campus Ministry Volunteer Opportunities:
Classroom Proctors: During the school year, students participate in retreats as a part of our Campus Ministry program. Proctors are needed to cover classes while faculty serve as retreat leaders. A proctor assignment can last as little as two hours a day or for the majority of the school day. We are happy to work with your schedule to accommodate our needs! To volunteer click here.
Service Project Chaperone: St. X students provide many thousands of hours of service in our community. We are in need of adults willing to drive students to service projects, chaperone students, or possibly work side-by-side with students on service outings. For further details click here or email Gail Ernstberger.
Library: The library welcomes archive assistance from a few hours to possibly a day each week. Activities could include logging and organizing archived materials, transferring videos to digital format, and photographing and scanning items for digital display. To volunteer, email Michele Metcalfe or call 637.4712.
