12 students selected for prestigious summer programs
Congratulations to our accomplished students on their selections to the 2018 Kentucky Governor's Scholars program (GSP) this June and July. Six juniors have been invited to participate in the prestigious five-week residential summer program held on the campuses of Morehead State University, Murray State University and Northern Kentucky University. They are: Cole Berger, Bryce Cadima, Sergio Diaz, Alex Johnson, Chas Pemberton, Harrison Smith, Sam Thompson and John Whittle.
Additionally, juniors Gabriel Barnett (Drama) and Field Oldham (Musical Theatre) were selected for The Kentucky Center Governor's School for the Arts program. It is a three-week residential summer program held at Centre College June 17-July 7. (Christian Beck is an alternate for Film/Photography).
St. X is also pleased to announce that two students have been selected for the Governor's School for Entrepreneurs Program. It is a three-week residential summer program held at Transylvania University June 24-July 14. Sophomores Christian Beck and Ethan Jacob were chosen for the Skillset program.
