Strength & Conditioning

Welcome to the Saint Xavier High School Strength and Conditioning Program! Throughout a young man’s four years here, our goal is to help him maximize the physical, mental, and spiritual gifts that God has given him. With proper movement and technique as the primary focus of our physical program, he will maximize his strength, speed, power, and agility, all while simultaneously decreasing his susceptibility to injury. Though improving and preparing our young men physically for the demands of his sport are important, preparing him mentally and spiritually for the demands of life is far more valuable. Instilling mental discipline, maintaining high expectations, and continuously striving for excellence are instrumental practices that attribute to the development of every Tiger.

The Mueller Weight Center, renovated in the summer of 2015, is a state-of-the-art facility with 10,000 square feet of student-centered space equipped with all new power racks, weights, barbells, dumbbells, TRX stations, cardio equipment, and rehab machines. The 24 self-contained power rack stations allow efficient workouts for every student and enable multiple teams to train at once. This terrific space and equipment ensure proper instruction and supervision, maximize safety, and provide opportunities for each student to reach his fitness and athletic goals.

Please contact me via email if you have any questions about our program or if I can help in any way.

Go Tigers!
