Class of 1973
The Class of 1973 Endowment was established in the summer of 1999 by the members of the class in celebration of their 25th anniversary. It reflects the class’s commitment to providing the Saint Xavier experience for generations to come. The endowment will provide a tuition grant for at least one Saint Xavier student each year. First preference will be a legacy of the Class of 1973 who demonstrates financial need. The award will be renewable if the student maintains his required academic standing.
As we prepare to celebrate the 50-year anniversary of our graduation, a campaign committee was established to focus on growing this endowment. A goal of $73,000 was set to commemorate our graduation year. By meeting this goal, we can grow our endowment to more than $150,000. Our class commitment is so strong that several classmates have presented a $20,000 challenge match to be paid if we can secure $53,000 in gifts and pledges.
Please consider making your gift in memory of all 1973 deceased classmates. This is a way to honor them and reaffirm the brotherhood that St. X consistently promotes.
* As of May 31, gifts and pledges in 2023 to the Class of 1973 Endowment total $139,089 *
Gifts and pledges since the Endowment was established in 1999 total more than $220,000.
