Arts

Perspectives broadened
At St. X, the arts are more than just mastering skills—they’re about making a statement. Here, students transform their passions and pride into powerful expressions, with every piece telling a unique and compelling story.

Performing arts fostering self-expression
The Lumen Theatre Company empowers students to shine through theatre, speech, and improv.
Guided by experienced mentors, students build confidence, creativity, and teamwork while performing in plays, competing in speech tournaments, and energizing crowds at pep rallies and events.

Upcoming Performances
The Lumen Theatre Company will present the play Puffs this September. Auditions will be held after school on Friday, May 8, and crew applications are due the same day. All rising 9th–12th grade St. X boys and Kentuckiana high school girls are welcome to participate. All audition and crew information can be found via this link.

Visual Arts
St. X's Visual Arts program inspires creativity through diverse mediums like painting, sculpture, and digital design.
Guided by passionate educators, students build skills, explore styles, and showcase their talents in exhibitions and competitions.
The Memory Project 2024
Spreading Joy Through Art
The Memory Project, a nonprofit that connects American art students with children in orphanages worldwide, has proudly partnered with St. X for 18 of its 20 years. St. X students create heartfelt portraits, gifting children a special keepsake that celebrates their individuality. This program not only spreads joy but also teaches our students the power of art to foster empathy, connection, and global awareness.

Music program, showcasing talent
The St. X Music Department fosters talent through programs like band, chorus, piano, and guitar.
With expert guidance, students excel in performance, theory, and composition, showcasing their skills at events and competitions while building creativity, community, and lasting memories.
