Justin Thomas class of 2011
A standout athlete at St. X, Justin Thomas went on to achieve global success on the PGA Tour, including winning the 2017 PGA Championship. Ranked among the top golfers in the world, Justin continues to inspire aspiring athletes with his competitive spirit and dedication to the game.
Clark Burckle class of 2006
A standout swimmer at Saint Xavier High School, Clark Burckle went on to compete at the highest levels of the sport. A collegiate All-American at the University of Arizona, he represented Team USA in the 200-meter breaststroke at the 2012 London Olympics. Known for his dedication and perseverance, Clark’s success in and out of the pool continues to inspire the next generation of athletes.
Will Wolford class of 1982
A dominant force on the football field, Will Wolford enjoyed a successful career in the NFL as an offensive lineman. A three-time Pro Bowler, he played for the Buffalo Bills, Indianapolis Colts, and Pittsburgh Steelers, protecting some of the league’s top quarterbacks. Will played a key role in Buffalo’s Super Bowl runs in the early 1990s. After retiring, he remained active in the sport as a coach and broadcaster, continuing to impact the game beyond his playing days.
Paul Byrd class of 1988
A skilled right-handed pitcher, Paul Byrd enjoyed a long career in Major League Baseball, playing for teams like the Atlanta Braves, Cleveland Indians, and Philadelphia Phillies. Known for his precise control and unique pitching style, he became an MLB All-Star and recorded over 100 career wins. After retiring from professional baseball, Paul transitioned to broadcasting and analysis, sharing his knowledge of the game while remaining a respected voice in the baseball community.
