Thank you for your interest in Saint Xavier High School. If you're ready for a challenge, we're ready for you. To ensure you can still fully experience St. X, we have opened campus for personal tours, shadow visits, and Walkabout Wednesdays.
Right now, times are different. But what remains constant is the strength of St. X, our community, and the brotherhood our students share.

This is a great way to meet parents of current students and learn why the St. X experience is so great for their son. Hear from Curt White, Director of Admissions and school administration, regarding an introduction to the Admissions Process. Get all of your questions answered about the placement test, tuition assistance, adjusting to high school, and all St. X can offer.
shadow visit
Shadowing is an important step in the enrollment process. All 7th and 8th grade boys are welcome to spend the day on campus, attending classes, meeting the teachers and having lunch. You will spend your day with a current freshman experiencing what it is like to be a Tiger. Eighth grade boys are welcome September through April. Seventh grade boys are invited to shadow January through April.

walkabout wednesday
The Walkabout Wednesday events were created to give parents of 8th graders the chance to visit the campus during a normal school day. Open House is a fantastic way to see the school on full display, but the Walkabout Wednesdays give parents the unique opportunity to experience firsthand what St. X can do for our students. Parents will tour the campus and have the opportunity to meet with Administrators and the Admissions Team.

Get a first-hand look at the academic programs which makes us one of the best private college prep schools in the area, explore our outstanding facilities and feel the spirit of brotherhood that makes St. X the leader in secondary education in the Louisville area. Families will have the option of experiencing the Tiger Walk, a unique, self guided tour that allows families to tour the school at their own pace and get a feel of what it is like to be a student at St. X. Teachers will be in the hallways to assist families. See our Sterne Gym come to life with moderators, coaches, students and faculty demonstrating why St. X is more than just a school. Information about clubs and sports programs will be available.

The Placement Test is required for admission to St. X as a freshman. Students interested in attending St. X should take the Placement Test at St. X. Applicants may only take the test once. Acceptance Notification letters will be mailed the second week of February.
