Planned giving is more than a donation—it’s a powerful statement of belief in the value of a St. X education and in the extraordinary potential of every student who walks these halls.

Theodore Ryken Society- Wills, Estates, Planned Gifts

Named in honor of Theodore James Ryken, the founder of the Xaverian Brothers, the Theodore Ryken Society recognizes all those who have taken the special step of naming Saint Xavier High School as a beneficiary of their estate plan. The generosity and foresight of members of the Ryken Society preserve the vision of Theodore James Ryken, continue the St. X tradition, and ensure that future generations of St. X graduates join the brotherhood. 

How to Join: 

The following types of gifts qualify you for membership: 

  • A bequest or provision in your will 

  • A Charitable Gift Annuity, Charitable Remainder Unitrust, or Charitable Remainder Annuity Trust that accrues benefits to St. X 

  • A gift or assignment of qualified retirement plan assets such as an IRA or 401(k) 

  • A gift or assignment of a life insurance policy 

If you have already included St. X in your plans, we hope you will let us know. Your willingness to be listed as a member of The Ryken Society encourages others to follow your example.
