WSTX
WSTX is a live, student-produced TV show that airs every morning throughout the school. This is an extra-curricular activity, open to all students. Crew positions for the morning show run on a weekly rotation. Students assigned to a crew position are expected to be in the TV Studio by 7:40 am every morning of their rotation. All students are expected to produce periodic news stories and/or feature segments for the show in order to remain on the crew for the live production. New members are welcome to join at any time during the year. If a particular sports season interferes with meeting times, students are encouraged to participate in WSTX as their sports schedules allow. There is no previous experience required to be a member of WSTX. This year, we will be producing WSTX from a brand new, state-of-the-art control room, and renovated studio. Students will be able to gain experience on broadcast quality live TV production equipment. If you are interested in joining, email Mr. Mitchell at bmitchell@saintx.com to be added to our Schoology group.
