The Saint Xavier High School Swimming and Diving team has been ranked as the #2 2019-20 Dual Meet Program in the country by the National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (NISCA). This year’s athletes scored the 5th highest point total (6503) in the history of boys high school swimming and the Tiger program’s highest total ever. The accomplished St. X Swimming and Diving program has won a total of 56 state titles among over 350,000 high school swim programs. St. X Director of Athletics, Denny Williams, said, "We missed the top spot by 3 points! Regardless, what an accomplishment by the St. X swimming and diving program. Even after all these years, Coach Larkin and his student-athletes continue to achieve at the highest level. Let this be a celebration for them and all the hard work put in during the 2019-20 season. This will just be fuel for next year’s team to be recognized as the nation’s top program."
Additionally, twenty Saint Xavier Swimming and Diving athletes have been recognized by NISCA as 2019-20 All-Americans. The distinction recognizes graduating seniors that have maintained a minimum GPA of 3.750, and have lettered in their high school programs. Less than 1% of all high school athletes accomplish All-American recognition. Saint Xavier High School is proud of the motivation, work ethic, and team “culture” that promotes maximizing potential, both in the classroom and in the pool. Along with the coaching staff, the St. X community would like to congratulate the following students who achieved All-American:
