St. X Athletics to be Live-Streamed

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, St. X, like all schools and communities, finds itself navigating in an unfamiliar landscape. While programs search for ways to provide as many elements of the high school experience as possible, the guiding principles of health and safety remain top priority. Therefore, in order to lower the risk of COVID-19 exposure at athletic events while still showcasing the commitment that athletes have invested into their sport, St. X is proud to announce the implementation of a live-stream service. Denny Williams, St. X Athletic Director, shared, "We are excited to partner with the NFHS Network School Broadcast Program to provide our families and friends in the St. X community the ability to view all our home regular season sporting events.  A special thank you to our broadcast sponsor, Darryl Metzger ’82, Senior Vice President & Financial Advisor with Baird, for facilitating the unlimited viewing capability so all St. X fans can cheer on the Tigers through the live-stream."

The NFHS Network provides schools with the software and tools needed to produce and broadcast professional grade events online. Williams explained the importance of integrating this service into the Tiger Athletic Program. "With capacity limitations set by the KHSAA this fall, it was important to offer alternative ways to watch these young men compete.  We have installed two state-of-the-art pixellot cameras in Br. Thomas More Page Stadium and Br. John Wills Sports Activities Center.  There is also the ability to stream baseball, swim & dive, tennis, and any other sporting events on campus with a mobile camera." For further information about how to view NFHS Network events, visit their website at or download the NFHS Network Live App for iOS and Android. Go Tigers!
