Students Selected for Prestigious Summer Programs

Congratulations to our accomplished students on their selections to four different prestigious summer programs.

Eleven juniors have been invited to participate in the five-week Kentucky Governor's Scholars program - a residential summer program held on the campuses of Centre College, Morehead State University, and Bellarmine University this June and July. They are Seth Beierle, Sam Gatewood, Jack Goebel, Darren Grendi, Henry Hawkins, Nick Keiran, Sahil Konduru, Fitz Norris, Clayton Roark, Parker Routt, and Alex Young.

Additionally, juniors Ryan Becherer (Musical Theatre) and Nicholas Nunnelley (Architecture + Design) were selected for The Kentucky Center Governor's School for the Arts program. It is a three-week residential summer program held at the University of Kentucky from June 27-July 17.

St. X is also pleased to announce that sophomore Lorenzo Martinelli has been selected for the Governor's School for Entrepreneurs Program. It is a three-week residential summer program held at Northern Kentucky University from June 6-26.

Juniors Travis Freville and Max Roberts have been invited to participate in the Commonwealth Honors Academy - a challenging academic enrichment program for outstanding high school students. It is a three-week residential summer program held at Murray State University from June 5-26. Students will have the opportunity to earn up to six hours of college credit upon completion of the program.
