Head Coach Kevin Wallace will enter his 3rd season as the leader of the Saint Xavier Football Program. The 2019 team finished at 8-5, capturing the District Championship, and saw their season end with a loss in the Region Final. The district title marked the 22nd time that Wallace has led his teams to a championship at that level.
Wallace holds a career record of 316-111 and is currently tied for 9th in career KHSAA wins. With two wins in the 2020 season, Wallace will move past Bob Redman and into 8th place. From 1982-1993 Wallace began his career at Warren East. He spent ten seasons as the Head Football Coach (45-61), seven years as the Head Baseball Coach (142-76), and three years as the Athletic Director. In 1994, Wallace moved to Bowling Green High School, spending two seasons as the offensive coordinator for the Purples. In 1996, Wallace became the Head Coach and embarked on a very successful 21 years leading Bowling Green. During his time with the Purples, Wallace amassed a 254-41 record, winning five state championships, and appearing in eight championship games. From 2011-14, Bowling Green won 48 consecutive games, the second-longest streak in KHSAA history. His five state titles and eight championship appearances rank him in the top 10 of both categories for KHSAA Football.
