Faithful God, we give you thanks for bringing us to the conclusion of this academic year. You have given us the opportunity to share in this community of Saint Xavier – to form one brotherhood out of many brothers.  Thank you for the relationships that we have formed this year.  Even in the midst of ups and downs you have given us strength. Lead us to use what we have learned to build up your kingdom. During the coming summer months, guide us to do your will as we rest and spend time with family and friends. Keep us safe and faithful to you. Amen.

SCHOOL NEWS

St. X will host prep classes for the June 6 SAT and the June 13 ACT the week before the tests from 8:30-12:00 each day.  The classes are co-ed with casual dress and will prepare you for the big day!  You can sign up through the Camp X page or email Mr. Hilbert for more details.

CLUB NEWS

Students in the cast and crew of the Lumen Theatre Company's fall production of Puffs should report to the auditorium at 3:50 PM for an all company meeting. Please be reminded that if you are a rising LTC senior or a member of the Thespian Society, you have meetings in the Ulmer Conference Room A at 2:50 and 3:20 to go over expectations for next school year. Check your emails from last week for details.

SPORTS NEWS

The eSports Street Fighter team is one of 32 teams to receive an invitation to compete in the National PlayVS 2026 Cup. Competition begins Tuesday May 19th. Members of the team are: Noah Meadows, Julian Rittichier, Sal DeNardo, Teddy Yarborough, and Ethan O’Toole. Shout out to Austin Washington for helping to prepare the team during practice times this season.

Congratulations to the varsity volleyball team on winning the 2026 State Championship! The team defeated Ryle High School in straight sets on Thursday night. The Tigers then moved on to defeat Trinity in the semifinals in a difficult 5 set thriller.

In the championship game the Tigers defeated West Jessamine High School in straight sets!

The Tigers were led by all-tournament team members Houston Hume and Isaac Lotze, as well as the MVP of the state tournament Briley Codey.

Congratulations to the 2026 volleyball team on a remarkable season that sustained a win streak that now sits at 61 straight matches - amazing accomplishment!

Congratulations to the lacrosse team, as they advance in the state tournament. The Tigers defeated Bowling Green 24 to 4 last Wednesday, then took down South Warren at home on Saturday, again by a score of 24 to 4. The team now plays in the semifinal round tonight at 5pm against Woodford County. All remaining games will be played at Great Crossing.
