Coach Chuck Medley Endowment

Chuck Medley has served the St. X community for 32 years as a teacher, coach, mentor, and friend.  During his tenure, he has taught or coached more than 3,000 young men.  As a valued faculty member in the Mathematics Department, Chuck has prepared students for the rigors of college study and complexities of adulthood.

As Head Coach of the Cross Country team for 21 years, his squads captured ten state championships and earned four runner-up trophies. As Head Coach of the Track & Field program, his teams earned three state titles. With thirteen combined state championships, Chuck is the third most decorated head coach in Tiger history.

Chuck’s enthusiasm and drive to succeed were infectious. He embraced young men who started as average runners and helped them grow into state champions by the time they graduated. Chuck is a St. X legend and now is the time to honor his legacy.
