Champions Plaza
Saint Xavier High School has a rich history of victory and accomplishment on the athletic fields. Thousands of student-athletes have competed for the Green and Gold and many were fortunate to have earned a state championship. Their success, in large part, can be attributed to the talent and work ethic of each individual player. But at St. X, we measure success by TEAM championships. And a TEAM is led by a coach, an inspirational and knowledgeable leader who guides a group of young men to victory.
We are leading a campaign to dedicate Champions Plaza at Brother Thomas More Page, C.F.X. Stadium at St. X. This space will recognize all coaches who led a team (that competed in the main stadium or its predecessor) to a State Championship. Located at Gate 2, the memorial arch will honor Coach John Meihaus while inside the stadium will be a display honoring all our state championship coaches.
Our goal is to raise $50,000 to secure this naming opportunity. We ask that you consider supporting this special project with a one-time gift or a three-year pledge. Complete the online giving form below or fill out the pledge form below that. If you have questions, please contact Chuck Willenbrink at Saint Xavier at cwillenbrink@saintx.com or 502-637-8485.
