MaryBeth Boehnlein serves as Chief People & Culture Officer at Yum! Brands, Inc., where she leads global human resources and enterprise services, including talent acquisition, HR business partnering, culture and employee experience, as well as corporate services, aviation, global asset protection, and corporate travel. In this role, she shapes the end-to-end employee experience for Yum!’s global workforce and helps drive the people strategies that enable high-performing teams and sustained business growth.

Over her tenure with Yum! Brands, MaryBeth has held a wide range of leadership roles across human resources, including global benefits design, wellbeing, organizational development, talent acquisition, HR business partnership, and global talent management. She is known for her commitment to building strong, values-driven cultures and fostering environments where employees feel recognized, engaged, and empowered to lead.

Prior to joining Yum!, MaryBeth began her career in public accounting as a Certified Public Accountant and later transitioned into human resources while at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP. She also holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification, reflecting her deep expertise in the field. She earned her accounting degree from the University of Kentucky, where she continues to volunteer and supports the Gatton College of Business and Economics.

MaryBeth lives in Louisville, Kentucky with her husband, Greg where they are active members of Holy Trinity Parish. MaryBeth and Greg(X’92) serve as pre-cana counselors for couples during their engagement and marriage prep and have loved the opportunity to spend months getting to know couples, supporting them, and watching them launch their married lives in the church.

Their family has a strong connection to St. Xavier High School, where both her husband and their two sons are alumni. Her sons are now based in Chicago, where they are building their professional careers.
